i peeked at ur post abt male yanderes n it was soooo interesting. the part abt comparing mlw western dark romance to mlm yanderes like ur absolutely right like there isnt enough uncontainable affection or desperation for me. for some reason i just detest the brooding, hiding in the shadows, domineering western ideal of a male love interest. like u said there was just a lot of western masculinity i did not care for all tht much..... i also havent read much, but ive watched a lot of shitty dark romance reviews (mostly coleen hoover bc shes like a car crash i just cant look away from) n i have yet to find a "good" dark romance either..... tldr ur thoughts were super interesting n i should go back to reading abt yanderes again
